ARPCO is a non-asset transportation and logistics company in business since 1988. We specialize in but not limited to OTR, FTL shipments of dry & temperature-controlled foods and related items. We are a member of the TIA and SmartWay. ARPCO is licensed, bonded, and insured.
Role Description:
ARPCO is seeking
- To hire experienced C2G (cradle to grave) Freight Brokers that want to manage all aspects of their own customers freight but need back-office support. Cradle to Grave Broker compensation: Salary commensurate with experience or commission whichever greater.
- To hire experienced Brokers that want to work within a collaborative buy/sell model, Chicago-style team environment with customer service and carrier sourcing support. Chicago-style Broker compensation: Salary commensurate with experience plus commission.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years’ experience as Freight Broker.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills: English, bilingual a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop new business and build strong customer relationships
- Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Sales experience
- The ability to type 40 WPM required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
