We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive service department. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Manage and mentor service technicians, providing guidance on automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Implement effective upselling strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive experience.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules, including oil changes, brake repairs, and transmission services.
- Maintain accurate records of all service transactions and auto estimating processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies within the service area.
- Collaborate with sales teams to promote automotive services and repair offerings.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
Experience
- Proven experience in dealership settings or as an auto service manager is highly preferred.
- Strong background in automotive repair, including mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, alignment, suspension, tire service, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair.
- Familiarity with service writing processes and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or service technician is advantageous.
