What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Assistant position at Arow Pharmacy?
We are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant, who will be working primarily at our Olympia Location and occasionally work at our Shelton and/or Centralia Locations, to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. You should be available to take evening and weekend shifts occasionally. Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Keep Pharmacy area Clean
- Follow all HIPAA regulations/ State /Federal Pharmacy Law
- Answer phone calls
- Accurately and efficiently performing release to patient and product dispensing, as applicable
- Accurately operate the cash register
- Promote sales and services to customer
Skills
- Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
- Basic PC knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
- Good math skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- House-Keeping
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum age of 16 Years
- Pharmacy Assistant License from WA State Board of Pharmacy
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
