Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development, including play-based learning and educational exercises.
• Supervise children during daily routines such as meals, naps, outdoor play, and classroom activities to ensure safety and engagement.
• Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior guidance strategies.
• Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents while adhering to licensing standards.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs or concerns.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively.
• Compassionate caregiving skills combined with patience and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
