Summary
As a Secondary Operations Operator at Aroplax Corporation, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for performing secondary/finishing operations on injection-molded parts and products to meet customer specifications.
Secondary Operations runs Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Operate various machines, including hot stamping, drill press, milling machine, sonic welder, and hand tools such as trimming knife, de-burring tool, etc.
- Bagging and packaging small parts and accessories, to be included with the product when shipped to the customer.
- Complete the initial inspection of injection-molded parts and determine if they are conforming or non-conforming product. Must communicate immediately with Supervisor and Quality Control Inspectors if non-conforming product is identified.
- Must be able to process a high volume of parts quickly and efficiently.
- Cleaning, sweeping, and general housekeeping of workstation at the end of each job and shift.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and flex between jobs/machines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing or operations preferred.
- Familiarity with machining processes and tooling is essential.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
