Aronimink Golf Club is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Receiver (Storeroom Clerk) to oversee the receipt, inspection, and organization of all incoming deliveries. This role ensures that the inventory is properly stored, stocked, and distributed while maintaining accurate records and upholding the club's high standards for quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

- Accept and verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect goods (food, liquor, wine, paper goods and equipment) for quality, accuracy, and damage.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues to the appropriate department or vendor.
- Organize and maintain storeroom cleanliness and orderliness.
- Properly label and store all inventory items according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment.
- Work closely with the Procurement Manager, chefs, and department managers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Assist with inventory reporting and maintain updated records in the club's purchasing system.
- Help coordinate returns or exchanges of damaged or incorrect items.
- Follow proper food safety and storage procedures (e.g., FIFO rotation, temperature control).
- Adhere to club policies and best practices for handling perishable and non-perishable goods.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in purchasing, receiving, or inventory management (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and move Master Cases and occasionally move up to 100 lbs boxes.
- Familiarity with inventory software (R365 preferred) or willingness to learn.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures (preferred).
