About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Cashier to join our retail team for the spring season. This role is focused on providing a warm, efficient checkout experience while keeping up in a very fast-paced, high-volume environment.
During peak season, our registers stay busy with multiple lines and a steady flow of customers. Cashiers must be able to move quickly, stay organized, and maintain a positive attitude while delivering great customer service.
This is also a physical role that includes assisting customers to their cars and helping load purchases.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers warmly and create a positive checkout experience
- Accurately process sales using our POS system
- Work efficiently during heavy rushes with multiple lines
- Assist customers with moving items from carts and carrying purchases to vehicles
- Answer basic customer questions and direct plant-related questions to sales associates
- Assist with phone calls, emails, and basic online inquiries
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and stocked
- Help with sweeping, trash, trays, and general tidying during downtime and at closing
- Support teammates wherever needed

Physical Requirements

- Comfortable bending, reaching, and moving throughout the day
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in spring conditions
Schedule & Pay
- 25–45 hours per week
- Weekend availability not required, but flexible availability is strongly preferred
- Pay: $14–$16/hour, based on experience
