Position: Manufacturing Manager

Location: Cartersville, Ga (Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate)

Hours: Monday-Friday (40 Hours Minimum)

Salary: up to $125,000 based on qualifications

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Manager who is ready to hit the ground running, day one, and lead our high-speed production operations. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and a proven track record of success in operations management, team leadership, and continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence, and ensuring that production targets, timelines, and quality standards are consistently met. Your leadership and organizational skills will guide a talented team, while your deep understanding of manufacturing best practices will ensure that our fragrance products are produced efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring that production runs efficiently, on schedule, and meets established quality standards.
  • Quality Control & Improvement: Implement and maintain qualitative controls across the manufacturing process. Identify areas for process improvement, utilizing continuous improvement methodologies to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production staff, fostering a positive, high-performance culture. Ensure the team is well-coordinated and focused on achieving production goals.
  • Planning & Scheduling: Utilize strong planning and scheduling skills to manage resources effectively, ensuring all production deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Logistics & Organization: Oversee material flow and inventory management to ensure that manufacturing needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain an organized and optimized production floor, ensuring the seamless coordination of activities.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to company safety standards and regulatory requirements. Enforce safety policies and practices within the manufacturing facility.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role, with a strong background in high-speed, high-volume production environments. Ideal candidates will have experience working with controlled or customized products, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in every batch.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required if the candidate has 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in managing projects, including process improvements, is highly desirable. A strong background in quality management to maintain product standards and drive continuous improvements is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience in qualitative controls and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong background in planning, scheduling, logistics, and inventory management is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, with exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
