Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain an organized and clean bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Interact with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; report any shortages or discrepancies.
- Support banquet and catering events by providing bartending services as needed.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests.
Skills
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Experience in bartending or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Familiarity with banquet or catering services is a plus but not mandatory.
