Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties and maintaining a positive team atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
