Duties
- Greet customers with a warm, energetic attitude and take their orders accurately using the Square POS system.
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages and other food items following safety and quality standards.
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and POS functions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling, food preparation, and adhering to food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining accuracy in sales and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests.Experience
- Previous barista experience or background in coffee preparation is highly desirable.
- Cashiering skills with familiarity in Square POS system preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures preferred
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced café or retail setting while multitasking effectively.
- Experience in the food industry or retail environment is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
