Barista Job Description
Job Summary:
The Assistant Team Leader (ATL) must first and foremost be an exemplary Barista and abide by all responsibilities in the Barista Job description. In addition, the ATL will assist the Team Leader to ensure the location runs smoothly, Baristas are adequately trained, and the location is able to serve customers at peak capacity.Our Baristas are the customers’ friendly guide to a great Aroma Joe’s Coffee beverage or snack. Essential functions:
- Embody our mission to "Positively Impact People" on a daily basis!
- The ATL is first and foremost a Barista/Shift Leader, directly serving, and interacting with customers, as described in the Barista job description.
- In addition, the ATL assists the Team Leader to ensure the location runs smoothly and can learn/assist with any of the following tasks: Inventory, product management, creating the schedule, team communication, advising the Operations Manager on equipment status, cash management, equipment function/maintenance, and/or updating marketing materials.
- ATL participates in the onboarding of new employees by assisting with training. Adequate training includes the new employee is prepared for high engagement customer interactions, can contribute to the success of monthly evaluations, and can efficiently and accurately perform their job duties.
- Provide support to the staff, including constructive feedback, and recognition of a job well done.
- Maintain a clean and orderly facility. Assist or lead the weekly chore list and assignments.
- Keep staff knowledgeable about new product promotions and/or deals.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
