Aroma International Inc, a trusted seafood distributor, is seeking a driven Management Trainee to join our team with a clear path toward a future leadership role as an Administrative Manager or Supply Chain Manager. This position offers hands-on exposure to office administration, purchasing, invoicing, and warehouse coordination — building the cross-functional foundation needed to manage these operations independently. Mandarin-speaking candidates are a plus, as we work with a diverse customer and supplier base.
Program Overview
The Management Trainee will rotate through and gain proficiency in core administrative and supply chain functions, including invoicing, purchase order management, vendor and warehouse communication, and inventory coordination. Trainees will learn to analyze workflows, identify process improvements, and eventually take on supervisory responsibility over administrative staff or supply chain operations, depending on performance and business need.
Responsibilities
· Prepare and process customer invoices, learning end-to-end billing and accounts receivable workflows
· Enter and manage purchase orders, gaining exposure to vendor relations and procurement strategy
· Communicate daily with the warehouse team to coordinate orders, shipments, and inventory needs
· Answer and route incoming calls, supporting general office operations
· Assist in analyzing administrative and supply chain workflows to identify efficiency improvements
· Support supervisors with reporting, scheduling, and cross-departmental coordination
· Participate in training and development activities designed to prepare for a future management role
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree required (Business Administration, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field)
· Strong analytical and organizational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Interest in pursuing a long-term career in administrative or supply chain management
· Mandarin language proficiency a plus
· Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, including warehouse staff
