AROMA, the leading brand in small kitchen appliances for major national retailers, has an immediate full-time opportunity for an Account Manager / Sales Assistant at our San Diego office.
SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated professional to support our B2B sales operations with key retail partners. This role focuses on managing retailer relationships, coordinating internal teams, analyzing business performance, and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive account growth. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support sales managers in executing product strategies and achieving sales objectives across major retail accounts.
- Build and maintain strong B2B relationships with retail buying teams and external sales representatives.
- Coordinate and monitor purchase orders (POs), forecasts, replenishment plans, and new product launches.
- Manage account-specific details, including pricing programs, promotional schedules, chargebacks, and compliance requirements.
- Track and analyze sales performance, assortment sell-through, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and logistics to ensure timely execution of retail programs.
- Monitor and report competitive activity, consumer insights, and online reviews for assigned accounts.
- Assist with presentations, reports, and product submissions for buyers and internal leadership.
- Troubleshoot and resolve account issues efficiently to maintain strong customer satisfaction.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of B2B account management or sales support experience, preferably with retail or e-commerce partners.
- Experience in consumer products, housewares, or small appliances a strong plus.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; able to balance multiple priorities.
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
