Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Event Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving event sales, creating marketing campaigns, and ensuring seamless coordination of events at our venue(s). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for clients and guests.
Responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as event planners, travel agencies, and corporate clients, to boost event inquiries.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients to generate event bookings (e.g., weddings, corporate functions, conferences, private events).
- Conduct sales presentations and venue tours for prospective clients.
- Develop and negotiate event proposals and contracts based on client requirements and budget.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with the hospitality sales team to achieve revenue targets and overall business growth.
- Work closely with catering, banquet, and operations teams to coordinate event logistics, including menu selections, room setups, and audiovisual needs.
- Manage event timelines and staffing, ensuring smooth day-of execution
- Coordinate post-event debriefings and gather feedback to improve future events.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote event offerings (e.g., social events, corporate meetings, weddings) and drive company visibility.
- Create engaging promotional materials, including brochures, email campaigns, social media content, and advertisements.
- Manage social media platforms and collaborate with influencers or local partners to enhance brand presence.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales or direct sales environments.
- Strong skills in product demos, cold calling, and upselling techniques.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event sales, marketing, or hospitality coordination.
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality and events industry, including market trends and customer preferences.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite), CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple events, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
