Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect with strong expertise in AWS Data & Analytics, Salesforce integration, and Tableau to design and deliver scalable enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will lead data architecture initiatives, build modern data lake/lakehouse platforms, develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines, and provide technical leadership to data engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise data architecture on AWS using S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Lake Formation, Kinesis, and RDS.
- Architect scalable data lake/lakehouse solutions and batch/real-time data pipelines.
- Integrate Salesforce (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud) with AWS data platforms.
- Develop enterprise data models, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
- Establish Tableau reporting standards, governance, dashboard optimization, and security.
- Lead data engineering teams through architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
- Implement data governance, security, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and DevOps best practices.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Drive cloud modernization and migration initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 15 years of overall IT experience.
- 10 years in Data Engineering, Analytics, and Enterprise Data Platforms.
- 6 years of hands-on AWS Data Architecture experience.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- 4 years of hands-on Tableau experience.
- 3 years of Salesforce integration experience.
- 3 years of experience leading data engineering teams.
- Experience with batch and real-time data processing, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Kafka and/or Amazon Kinesis.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working with U.S.-based stakeholders and client-facing teams.
