Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Merritt Island, FL, for a Director of Procurement. The Director of Procurement will oversee procurement operations, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of materials and services. The role involves contract negotiation, management of procurement strategies, and the development and execution of projects to optimize supply chain efficiency. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with vendors, evaluating supplier performance, and ensuring adherence to quality and cost standards.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Procurement, and Contract Management
- Proven skills in Contract Negotiation and vendor relationship management
- Experience in Project Management with a focus on process efficiency and cost-saving initiatives
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain leadership roles
- Experience in the automotive industry or manufacturing environment is preferred
