Your Role as Practice Manager


As Practice Manager, you will partner closely with the Medical Director and regional team to lead the hospital’s business operations and team performance. Your role will focus on strengthening staff engagement, client satisfaction, and operational excellence while fostering a positive, inclusive culture.


Key Responsibilities


Human Resources & Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing team
  • Foster a culture of communication, accountability, and collaboration
  • Lead regular team meetings to drive alignment and shared goals
  • Promote team development through ongoing training and recognition
  • Address employee concerns professionally and proactively
  • Maintain compliance with safety, HR, and workplace protocols


Business & Financial Operations

  • Manage daily hospital operations, optimizing efficiency and client flow
  • Monitor KPIs and financial performance, including payroll, revenue, and inventory
  • Collaborate on marketing, client retention, and growth strategies
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and software systems (e.g., practice management platforms)
  • Implement and refine standard operating procedures to ensure consistency
  • Drive continuous improvement and a service-oriented culture


What You Bring

  • 2 years of experience in a veterinary or healthcare management role
  • Proven leadership skills and a passion for team development
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Financial acumen including budget management and KPI tracking
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A positive attitude and a drive to create a workplace where people are “Happy Here”
