Description

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, trailers, and service equipment to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role for a dependable mechanic who takes pride in quality work and preventative maintenance.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on fleet vehicles and equipment
  • Repair brakes, suspensions, steering, exhaust, and driveline components
  • Conduct inspections to ensure DOT and safety compliance
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently
  • Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
  • Communicate repair needs and timelines with management
  • Keep shop and work areas clean and safety-compliant

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 2 years of diesel mechanic experience (required)
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working on medium-duty and/or heavy-duty trucks
  • Ability to read service manuals and diagnostic tools
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
