Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Paralegal/Legal Secretary in our employment practice located in Sacramento, CA. The Paralegal/Legal Secretary will be responsible for assisting attorneys with their cases, preparing legal documents, conducting research, reviewing documents, filing and serving legal documents, and ensuring effective communication. Additionally, the candidate will support the attorneys in managing client relations and organizing case files.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Law and experience in Legal Document Preparation
- Strong Communication and Research skills
- Proficiency in Document Review and analysis
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior experience in employment law is a plus
- Experience and knowledge of California employment law is preferred
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensaion
- Generous benefit package
- $60,000 to $80,000, depending on experience
