Position Overview
Arnold Grounds Apartment Management is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Nowata Gardens Apartments in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. This position plays an important role in maintaining the overall appearance of our affordable multifamily housing community.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, community rooms, offices, and other designated areas.
Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
Clean and prepare vacant apartment units for new residents as part of the make-ready process.
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, windows, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
Remove trash and debris from designated areas and properly dispose of waste.
Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when additional materials are needed.
Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or property damage to the Community Manager.
Follow company safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Assist the property management and maintenance teams with additional housekeeping duties as assigned.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with residents and staff.
QualificationsRequirements
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or apartment cleaning experience preferred.
Experience working in multifamily housing, senior housing, or affordable housing communities is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning supplies.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward residents and coworkers.
Must be able to successfully complete company-required pre-employment screening.
