Responsibilities
*Some nights and weekends will be required*
- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in daily living activities.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Promote independence by encouraging clients to participate in decision-making and skill-building activities.
- Ensure that residents' rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records as required.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement individualized support plans.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
- Ability to monitor vital signs and recognize changes in client health status.
- Knowledge of assisted living practices and resident rights is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
