Arning Companies, LLC is hiring skilled Framers and Production Carpenters to build high-quality walls, floors, and roof systems in a modern off-site construction facility. This is a fast-paced, year-round indoor production role with steady hours. If you take pride in building things straight, square, and fast, this is the job for you.
Key Responsibilities
· Frame wood and light-gauge steel walls, floors, and roof trusses from blueprints and cut lists
· Perform accurate layout: snap lines, square walls, level floors, plumb assemblies
· Install sheathing, house wrap, windows, and roofing underlayment
· Use pneumatic framing nailers, chop saws, track saws, worm-drive Skilsaws, and laser levels daily
· Read and follow shop drawings, blueprints, and daily production schedules
· Build to tight tolerances with zero twist, bow, or out-of-square conditions
· Maintain clean, organized workstation and follow 5S standards
· Meet or exceed daily production targets (linear feet or modules per shift)
· Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment when needed
Required Qualifications
· 3 years of rough carpentry/framing experience (residential or commercial)
· Proven ability to frame straight, square, and plumb with minimal supervision
· Strong blueprint and layout reading skills
· Reliable, excellent attendance, and a team-first attitude
· Physical ability to lift 80 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for 10 hours
Preferred Skills
· Experience in modular, panelized, or off-site construction
· Light-gauge steel framing experience
· Familiarity with Lean or production environment workflows
