Formulator

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Formulates and develops new products; oral solid dosage dietary supplements (tablets, capsules and powders), based on customer’s specifications, label and/or sample. 
• Coordinates new product formulation development and modifies existing formulations as required. 
• Prepares nutraceutical formulations as required by test methods and performs all necessary calculations associated with the test analysis
• Optimizes ingredient functionality, product functionality, product formulations and product enhancement to improve quality, cost, and manufacturing of new and current products. 
• Develops Supplement and Nutritional Facts for formulated products
• Reviews new and existing Master Formulas. 
• Prepares written monograph’s product and writes technical and progress reports
• Researches clinical studies of active ingredients.
• Provides technical support to domestic and international customers.
• Reviews documentation required for the international registration of products.
• Monitors, evaluates, and interprets data from all phases of design and development of a product
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor
