Job DescriptionWe are seeking vigilant and responsible Lifeguards to join our team at both pool and beach locations in Carlsbad, CA. The ideal candidates will be dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons by monitoring aquatic areas, enforcing safety rules, and responding promptly to emergencies.
Responsibilities- Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all guests.
- Enforce pool and beach rules and regulations consistently and fairly.
- Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment around the pool and beach areas.
- Conduct routine safety checks of equipment and facilities.
- Communicate effectively with patrons and team members.
- Attend regular training sessions and maintain required certifications.
- Current Lifeguard certification (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent).
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous lifeguarding experience preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions at both pool and/or beach settings. Lifeguards must be prepared to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours during peak seasons.

Compensation: $18 - $25 per hour based on experience and open water responsibilities
