A rapidly growing home care organization is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting operations. Reporting to the CFO, this role oversees month-end close, strengthens internal controls, enhances reporting accuracy, and guides a small accounting team within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Controller ensures clean financials, maintains GAAP compliance, leverages Sage Intacct for multi-entity reporting, and supports leadership with timely insights and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and month/year-end closes across multiple entities in Sage Intacct.
- Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements; coordinate with auditors and tax teams.
- Supervise and develop internal and outsourced accounting staff.
- Manage AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and Intacct workflows.
- Strengthen internal controls, documentation, and process efficiency.
- Partner with payroll/HR teams; Viventium integration experience is highly preferred.
- Deliver timely financial reports, variance analyses, and actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Hands-on Sage Intacct experience (multi-entity, dimensions, allocations, reporting) required.
- Familiarity with Viventium payroll/GL integration strongly preferred.
- 5 years progressive accounting experience with supervisory exposure.
- Strong GAAP understanding and full-cycle accounting skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort with modern accounting systems.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
