Custodian Opening
The Armstrong School district is currently hiring a permanent full-time Custodian. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED, college, technical or trade school), minimum of one year prior custodial experience, knowledge of computer technology preferred but not required, knowledge of custodial skills and equipment and appropriate use of cleaning products, valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License. Under the supervision of the Building Principal and Head Custodian, the Custodian provides the daily operation and maintenance of a sanitary and safe facility for students, employees and the public. The Custodian ensures that assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner and demonstrates competence in the performance of job responsibilities using established district practices and procedures. Armstrong School District has competitive wages, and provides sick time, personal days, and vacation days.
