Our team promotes community-wide ecological health and wildfire resiliency through the adoption of cultural fire practices.
We are currently looking to grow our team with members having backgrounds in:
- Native American Studies
- Fire Ecology
- Cultural Resource History & Preservation
- Soil Science
- Hydrology & Stream Ecology
- Dendrology
- Mapping & GIS
This is a field position that is embedded within our wildland firefighting team. Job tasks will include those related to prescribed fire management, vegetation management, and wildfire readiness. Responsibilities will include assisting with development of environmental management plans, implementation of plans, and oversight of best practices. Applicants must be able to hike distances greater than 1 mile in a workday, and must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively. Job locations are in varied terrain, sometimes with steep slopes and direct sun.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
