Experienced Manual/CNC Machinist – Setup & Programming
Position Description
We are looking for an experienced Machinist capable of setting up and operating both manual and CNC equipment. This position involves producing finished parts from engineering drawings and specifications, determining the appropriate machining processes, selecting tooling, and completing jobs independently or as part of a small team.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with both manual and CNC machining and be comfortable taking a job from setup through completion.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experienced in setting up and operating both manual and CNC machines
- Experienced with conversational CNC programming for both lathe and mill applications, including TRAK machines
- Experienced with G-code CNC programming
- Proficient in the use of precision measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, test indicators, and related inspection equipment
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and determine the appropriate machining processes and sequence to produce a finished part from stock materials
- Capable of selecting and specifying the tooling required to complete jobs
- Capable of designing and fabricating custom fixtures when required
- Capable of working independently or as part of a small team to complete assigned jobs
Preferred Experience
- Experience machining high-alloy materials, including:
- 304 and 316 stainless steel
- Inconel 600 and 800
- Monel 400
- Hastelloy C-276

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
