We are seeking a results-driven Commercial Storage Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth by securing long-term, rotating storage contracts for our state-of-the-art 100,000 square foot warehousing facility. This is a commission-based role focused on business development, client relationship management, and maximizing warehouse utilization through strategic sales and account management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Business Development: Actively prospect and identify new clients requiring palletized storage, floor space storage, or integrated logistics solutions
- Sales & Closing: Present warehouse capabilities, inventory control systems, security features, and final mile delivery services to prospective clients; negotiate and close long-term storage contracts
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure contract renewals and identify upsell opportunities
- Warehouse Utilization: Continuously work to fill available warehouse space with high-quality, long-term rotating storage contracts
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with operations team on final mile delivery services and ensure seamless integration of client goods into inventory management system
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing to position the company competitively
- Reporting: Track pipeline, forecast revenue, and provide regular updates on business development activities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of sales or business development experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management
- Proven track record of closing B2B contracts and managing client relationships
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and meet/exceed commission targets
- Valid driver's license; willingness to travel to meet clients
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) or contract warehousing
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse technology
- Existing relationships or network in the logistics/supply chain industry
- Experience with final mile delivery services
COMPENSATION:
- Base salary commission structure based on contract value and warehouse utilization
- Performance bonuses for exceeding utilization targets
