ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Inpatient and Outpatient Care (Night Shift) in Weirton, West Virginia.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule is a 4-week rotation schedule with shifts of 12 hours from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM or Mid Shift from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM. Weekend and holiday coverage are required as scheduled.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients across various settings including Inpatient (medical-surgical, PCU, ICU), ER, Rehab, PACU, SNF, Endo, and Outpatient. The role includes administering breathing treatments, drawing arterial blood gases (ABGs), performing capillary sticks for I-Stats, and managing respiratory equipment. No EKGs will be performed, and while assistance with intubations is required, independent intubation is not expected.

• Administer breathing treatments to patients as needed.


• Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) and perform capillary sticks for I-Stats.


• Manage respiratory equipment, including Puritan Bennett 840's, BiPAP V60's, and High Flow-Airvo 2's.


• Support patients in various settings, including ER, ICU, and outpatient.

Preferred candidates will have 3-4 years of experience, although first-time travelers will be considered.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.


• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) who is grandfathered in by the WV Board of Respiratory Care is acceptable.


• WV CARES required prior to start.
