This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 12-hour PRN position. Flexibility to work days and/or nights is preferred.

The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide direct patient care services with a focus on pulmonary function testing and the initiation of CPAP devices. Responsibilities include supporting requests for continued supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers, assisting in training patients on the use of inhalers, setting up patients with DME equipment, and working closely with physicians.

• Provide direct patient care services related to pulmonary function testing.


• Initiate and manage CPAP devices for patients.


• Support durable medical equipment requests, including oxygen concentrators and nebulizers.


• Assist in patient training for the use of inhalers.


• Set up patients with durable medical equipment (DME).


• Collaborate closely with physicians on patient care plans.

• Minimum of 1 year of hospital or physician office experience.


• Computer literacy is required.

• RRT or CRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).


• New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP).


• BLS certification is required.


• ACLS certification is required.
