Registered Nurse - Medsurg/Stepdown/Tele

Schedule

This position requires 4x12 hour shifts on weekend nights, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

The Resource Pool Registered Nurse will provide care for patients across various Medsurg, Stepdown, and Telemetry units. This position requires a strong background in nursing with experience in a Level 1 trauma setting, utilizing Epic for charting. A well-rounded skill set is essential, including but not limited to Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Medsurg, Stepdown, and Telemetry units.


• Monitor patient conditions and manage treatments in accordance with established protocols.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients.


• Utilize Epic for electronic health record documentation.


• Adhere to patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:3 for Stepdown and 1:6 for Medsurg/Telemetry units.

• AHA BLS certification required.


• AHA ACLS certification required.


• Previous travel experience and Level 1 trauma experience preferred.


• Must hold a valid nursing license.
