Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position for 18 weeks.

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30.

The Respiratory Therapist will provide critical care respiratory therapy for patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The therapist will work as part of a Rapid Response Team (RRT) and is expected to float within the specialty as needed to support respiratory care. Strong pediatric and adult experience is required, with a preference for candidates with prior experience in charge roles.

• Deliver respiratory care in accordance with established protocols for a wide range of patients.


• Administer aerosol therapies and monitor patient responses.


• Assist in high-risk deliveries and perform intubation and extubation as needed.


• Conduct arterial punctures and other necessary diagnostic procedures.


• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding respiratory care.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy with demonstrated pediatric and adult experience.


• Current RRT or CRT licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.


• CPI certification required; must utilize the Calm Every Storm online version for compliance.
