Registered Respiratory Therapist - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week with possible consideration for 48 hours.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) performs cardiopulmonary evaluation, respiratory care, life support, and patient education for a diverse range of patients across all ages. The RRT will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, addressing deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system while following established protocols or physician prescriptions. The therapist can perform respiratory care duties throughout the hospital.

• Conduct cardiopulmonary evaluations and provide respiratory care.


• Administer life support and perform respiratory therapy interventions.


• Educate patients, families, and the public on respiratory health.


• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans.

• Current RRT certification from NBRC.


• New York State License.


• Experience in Labor & Delivery and Neonatal Resuscitation.


• Certifications: NRP, BLS, PALS, ACLS.


• Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care Program.


• Critical care proficiency is required.
