We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team for a 13-week night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will have over a year of experience in couplet care and will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians in delivering quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care based on patients' needs.
- Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate the individualized plan of care for assigned patients based on initial and ongoing assessments.
- Conduct assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as required.
- Manage patient care and document activities based on care standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
- Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- **Experience:** 1 year of experience in a related specialty required.
- **Licenses/Certifications:**
- Current RN licensure from the state of New Jersey
- Current CPR Health Care Provider Certification
- ACLS certification required for telemetry positions
- **Education:**
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required; BSN is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
