- **Patient Assessment:** Perform a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission, using data to create individualized care plans.
- **Education and Collaboration:** Identify teaching needs and goals through collaboration with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team. Provide timely updates during team conferences regarding patient conditions.
- **Direct Patient Care:** Engage in rehabilitation programs, delivering care based on the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- **Discharge Planning:** Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and communicate essential information for a smooth transition.
- **Team Supervision:** Provide direction and training to nursing staff, utilizing problem-solving techniques to meet patient care needs effectively.
- **Safety Compliance:** Maintain a safe environment by adhering to nursing policies, promoting safety in patient handling, infectious disease control, and the overall work environment.
