Under the direction and supervision of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. They record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.

• Assist in the treatment of patients under the supervision of physical therapists.


• Administer various therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs.


• Monitor and document patients' progress throughout their treatment plans.


• Communicate effectively with the supervising physical therapist regarding results and any changes in patient conditions.

• 2 years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience (required).


• Texas or compact license (required).
