Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 3x12 hours (06:30 - 19:00)

The Pediatric Cardiac Prep and Recovery RN will be responsible for both pre and post-anesthesia care of special cardiovascular procedures. This role encompasses a patient demographic ranging from neonates to geriatric congenital cardiac patients, including those undergoing sedated studies and cardiac surgical workups. Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of both normal and abnormal cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.

• Manage a daily caseload of 2-3 patient visits.


• Provide pre and post-anesthesia care for cardiovascular procedures.


• Assist in clinic visits and cardiac surgical workups.


• Monitor and assess patients' cardiovascular health status.


• Collaborate with the Pediatric Interventional Cardiology and Imaging Manager.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN, preferably in pediatric ICU or procedural care with cardiac focus.


• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.


• Active South Carolina RN License must be in hand prior to start.
