Orthopedic Nurse - 13-week Contract Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Required to work 3 12-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts; on-call responsibilities include 6 call shifts per 4-week schedule.

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong orthopedic and trauma orthopedic experience. Nurses will be expected to assist with various orthopedic procedures, including arthroscopies, total joints, and ortho trauma cases while adhering to established protocols and documentation standards.

• Participate in the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries.


• Provide patient education and support to ensure a smooth recovery process.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Meditech system.


• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Current BLS certification is required.


• TNCC certification is mandatory for submission.


• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic nursing, with trauma orthopedic experience preferred.
