Surgical Nurse - General Operating Room

Location

This position is located in Pennsylvania.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM)

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Nurse to provide quality care in the General Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in scrub and circulating roles and will work in collaboration with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Assist in scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures.


• Ensure the operating room is prepared with necessary supplies and equipment.


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.


• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.


• Participate in on-call rotation as necessary.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a General Operating Room.


• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.


• PA or compact nursing license required for employment.


• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred.


• Previous scrub and circulate experience is mandatory.
