Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 5x8 Hours (08:00 - 17:30)

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our Acute Care team. This role involves working with adult and geriatric patients in a supportive healthcare environment, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individual treatment plans.


• Implement therapy sessions utilizing various techniques to enhance patient recovery.


• Utilize specialized skills including biofeedback, electrical stimulation, and more.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.


• Maintain accurate records and documentation using the Community Hospital charting system.

• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience.


• Current BLS and NBCOT certifications are required.


• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.


• Ability to work with various patient diagnoses and acuity levels.
