Registered Nurse - High Acuity Mixed Unit

Titusville, FL

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 3x12-hours (07:00 - 19:00)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity mixed unit. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry skills and experience in managing diverse patient populations. Candidates should be prepared to work weekends and float within the unit as needed.

• Provide nursing care for patients in a high-acuity mixed unit including Med Surg, Med Surg Tele, and PCU.


• Monitor and manage patients' conditions using telemetry.


• Utilize rapid response team skills as necessary.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.


• Document patient care accurately using Meditech.


• Participate in the clinical orientation week, committing to 5 shifts during the first week.

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a high-acuity setting.


• ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications required.


• Strong telemetry experience with a 1:6 patient ratio.


• Experience with total joint replacement and rapid response teams preferred.


• Current Florida or compact RN license required.
