Inpatient Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 5x8 hours, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 1 weekend per month required.

The Inpatient Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing evaluation and treatment for patients in a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation unit. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans and implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to develop treatment plans.


• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and functional independence.


• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care.


• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and techniques.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.


• Active South Carolina or Multi State Compact Physical Therapist License.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
