Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shifts: 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, variable days.

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting. This role involves evaluating and managing patients with respiratory difficulties in accordance with physician orders.

• Provide advanced level of care, assessment, and education in Respiratory Therapy.


• Evaluate, monitor, and control complex life support systems for critically ill patients.


• Perform complex respiratory therapy procedures, including mechanical ventilation management.


• Participate as a member of the cardiac arrest team and respond to emergencies.

• Active Maine Respiratory Care Practitioner license.


• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification required.


• Minimum of 2 years experience in Respiratory Care, specifically in a hospital setting with ICU patients.
