Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Health

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with recent home health experience to join our dynamic therapy team. The PTA will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients in a home health setting, focusing on achieving optimal patient outcomes and enhancing quality of life.

• Conduct patient evaluations and assist in developing treatment plans.


• Deliver therapeutic interventions in accordance with established goals.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Homecare Homebase charting system.


• Engage in 1:1 treatments, managing a caseload of 7-10 patient visits per day.


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in home health.


• Current TN license or compact license required.


• Experience with Homecare Homebase charting preferred.


• First-time travelers are accepted; however, a year of experience is preferred.

This position typically operates on a 5-day work schedule, either Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, based on patient preferences.
