What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician position at Arms Wide Open ABA?
We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and passionate RBT to work in the Nashua, NH area.
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will assist in implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary role is to work directly with clients to support their development and help them achieve their behavioral goals.
Pay: $25 to $30 per hour, based on experience

The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, and able to follow detailed instructions. A commitment to ongoing professional development is required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the modification of intervention strategies based on collected data and feedback from the supervising BCBA.
- Delivering one-on-one behavior therapy sessions to clients based on the individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
- Observing and documenting client behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
- Attending training sessions and supervision meetings to enhance skills and ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards.
- Supporting clients in developing and enhancing communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Maintaining a positive and encouraging environment to foster client engagement and progress.
- Implementing behavior interventions and data collection procedures as outlined in the client’s behavior plan.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
- RBT Certification.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and medical documentation practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, records, and care plans related to patient care.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for teaching and interacting with clients and their families.
