SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Materials Manager, this position supports the Material Handling department in the general receipt and handling of goods. This positions’ responsibilities range from receiving materials into an MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) system, making transactions in an MRP system, moving and packing of goods, and driving to support delivery and pick-up of outside process orders. A well-qualified candidate for this role will be very flexible, able to multi-task, able to work in a fast paced environment, a strong team player, a safe driver, and has a good understanding of MRP activities regarding shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Receive goods into inventory and label accordingly.
2. Assist in keeping accurate inventory including cycle counts.
3. Manages packing material purchase and inventory.
4. Handing and Packing of high precision components.
5. Safely driving to pick up and drop off components to customers and OSP Vendors.
6. Walks machine shop to move material identified to move to next operation.
7. Highlights shortages, obstacles, and opportunities in material handing department.
8. Maintain a high level of professionalism in both communication and appearance as an external representative of the Company.
9. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing material handling, Aerospace preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience Driving in a commercial environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience Driving a forklift.
- Understanding of MRP systems and transactions.
- Strong understanding of Inventory systems and transactions.
- Ability to safely drive parts in a timely manner.
- Understanding of Machine shop operations and Aerospace supply chains.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business reports, receipts, and certifications.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
In good judgment understand when an issue arises and escalate immediately to appropriate party. Ability to follow directions written and verbal; including multi-tasking to ensure the highest priority task is completed first without losing track of previous tasks.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
