POSITION DESCRIPTION
Together Program Support Specialist – Refuge Campus
Reports To: Together Program Director – Refuge Campus
FLSA Status: Exempt
Requirement: Living on Refuge campus.
ARMS OF HOPE MISSION:
To transform the lives of disadvantaged children, youth and families by providing hope and support in a nurturing, Christian environment.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing education plans for single mothers, training single mothers on driving AOH vehicles, transport single mothers to appointments, and otherwise assist and support the Together Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Education for Together Program:
- Responsible for assisting single mothers with educational pursuits
- Meet regularly with single mothers to assist and assign tasks towards education pursuits and coordinate with director on plan
- Maintain and supervise the study space for mothers
Driving Training for Moms:
- Complete driving paperwork for single mothers with HR including MVR and notarized documents
- Conduct training and driving assessment/test with mothers to ensure safe driving of AOH vehicles
- Ensure vehicles have necessary insurance and other paperwork that is up to date
Accounting Assistance:
- Manage cash box and stipends for single mothers, as well as gift cards
- Open mail and coordinate mailing or delivering checks to accounting personnel
- Collecting receipts and invoices to deliver to accounting personnel
Other Duties:
- Assist director in building campus community
- Assist in driving moms and engaging in positive conversations
- Volunteer assistance as needed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience: Bachelors or Masters in Social work or related field with 2 years experience,
Certificates, licenses, registrations: Current driver license and able to drive 15 passenger van, Notary.
Other: Must be an excellent written and verbal communicator and proficient in computer skills.

Pay: $20,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
