Role Description: The Investor Relations & Business Development Associate will be responsible for supporting and expanding relationships with investors, strategic partners, and other key stakeholders. This full-time hybrid role is based in Greenwich, CT, with flexibility for part-time work-from-home.
Responsibilities: preparing investor materials, presentations, and reports; maintaining investor databases and tracking engagement activities; and coordinating meetings, calls, and follow-ups with current and prospective investors. The Associate will conduct proactive outreach and engagement amongst the investor and stakeholder base, including a regular cadence of investor engagement. The role also involves assisting with lead generation, outreach campaigns, and pitch preparation, while collaborating closely with leadership, finance, and scientific teams to ensure consistent, accurate messaging.
The Associate position will also require occasional travel to assist with investor and government meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong presentation abilities, including developing and delivering clear, compelling presentations and investor decks. Experience working in Figma is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in lead generation and business development outreach to investors, partners, or clients.
- Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and synthesizing data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different stakeholder groups.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, communications, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
- Experience in investor relations, venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or a growth-stage startup environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Interest in or experience with healthcare, life sciences, defense, or public health technologies is beneficial.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment and maintain a high level of professionalism with external stakeholders.

The annual base salary range for this role is $145,000-$165,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation, equity, and/or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
